Retail Media Consultant – Asia Brand Acquisition

Do you want to work with leading Asian brands and help them grow within one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the Netherlands?

In this role, you will build and develop new commercial partnerships across the Asian market, with a strong focus on China, and ensure successful activation and scaling of retail media campaigns.

You act as the key link between international advertisers and internal teams, driving growth in a new and high-potential advertiser segment. A senior-level, temporary assignment where you directly impact revenue, partnerships, and market expansion at bol.

Responsibilities: Retail Media Consultant – Asia Brand Acquisition

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Identify and prioritize relevant Asian (especially Chinese) brands for bol’s retail media platform;
  • Proactively approach and build relationships with potential advertising partners;
  • Drive onboarding and activation from first contact through to live campaigns;
  • Grow advertising spend and develop long-term commercial partnerships;
  • Manage project planning, progress tracking, and reporting to the Retail Media International Lead;
  • Capture insights and translate them into scalable best practices;
  • Collaborate with internal teams on a project basis to ensure successful execution.

Criteria: Retail Media Consultant – Asia Brand Acquisition

The ideal candidate:

  • Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent communication skills in English;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within retail media, digital advertising, or e-commerce;
  • Proven track record in acquiring, onboarding, and growing commercial clients or advertising partners;
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese market and business culture, with the ability to bridge Asian brands and European stakeholders effectively;
  • Self-driven and results-oriented professional with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.

Offer: Retail Media Consultant – Asia Brand Acquisition

  • Temporary assignment (not freelance) at a leading e-commerce organization;
  • Salary: approx. €7,000 gross per month based on 40 hours;
  • Duration: July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026;
  • 32–40 hours per week;
  • Hybrid working model (2 days in the office).

Als de klant/opdrachtgever besluit om jou de baan aan te bieden, ontvang je een formeel aanbod. Het is aan jou om dit aanbod te accepteren. Als je het aanbod accepteert, regelen wij de verdere financiële afhandeling en zorgen we ervoor dat alles in orde is voor jouw nieuwe positie.
